hdpe te

In HDPE Te, it is a three-ended fitting (fitting) produced from HDPE raw material. Depending on the needs during the application, the diameters and thicknesses of the ends of this part may vary. In addition, edge slopes and angle differences can be provided according to the needs of the application.

In HDPE Te, they take different names according to different usage areas and different shapes. HDPE Equal, HDPE İnegal and HDPE Cross can be given as examples. They are also classified according to their angles. In general, 45° and 90° productions are made. With special productions, different angles of these are also produced.
Since HDPE is more flexible, more durable and more economical than its other alternatives, it has been the primary raw material choice in the production of tees as well as being the primary raw material choice in the production of other fittings. Welding is required, as tee fittings produced from this material cannot be joined with an adhesive.

What is HDPE?

HDPE is a hard and high density polyethylene material obtained from petroleum. It takes its shortened and widely used form from its English equivalent. HDPE is the abbreviated form of “High Density Polyethylene”. Its Turkish translation is “High Density Polyethylene”. HDPE is 90% crystalline.
There are several ways to obtain HDPE raw material.

The first of these is the polymerization method. With this method, high pressure is used to obtain the raw material. In coordination polymerization, catalytic synthesis is carried out at a temperature between 50-75 °C and under low pressure. Titanium tetrachloride and aluminum alkyl dissolved in heptane are used as catalysts. The heat of polymerization is removed by the cooling process. The polymer form seized after the process can be powder or granule. The raw material passes to the drying process by filtering from the liquid medium. After drying, it is packaged and waits for its buyers.

Another method that can be followed in HDPE synthesis is the “metal oxide catalyst polymerization” method. In this method, ethylene gas is first dissolved in paraffin, then it is heated to 35 atm at a temperature between 60-200 °C. held under pressure for a certain period of time. After a certain time, the cooling process is done and the evaporation process follows it. Finally, the product is obtained.
1 kg. In order to obtain HDPE raw material, approximately 1.75 kg. oil must be used.

Features of HDPE

The mechanical properties of HDPE are very good. It is particularly resistant to impacts and pulls. In addition to these, since it is resistant to corrosion and abrasion, it provides an advantage for its users when compared to other materials.

HDPE is similar in structure to LDPE but much more durable than it. However, it is not as durable as LDPE in light and outdoor conditions. Of course, this situation can be changed and resistance can be increased with special fillings. Since it is light and flexible, it is easy to install and thus saves time and energy in the work to be done. It also has a self-lubricating feature. While HDPE itself is resistant to freezing, it ensures that the liquid passing through it does not freeze, so that the transported materials are transported in a healthy way. It has the feature of not holding dust and dirt.

Where is HDPE Used?

HDPE has a very wide and functional usage area. It has become an indispensable material in the industrial world, especially in pipe production and fittings production. It has a very wide scale from plastic bottle production to pipe production. Gas distribution pipes, pressure pipes, bottles, cans, drums, white goods, machine parts, insulating materials, toys, electrical and electronic goods, etc. used in production.

HDPE Tee Types

In HDPE, the three ends of this piece, which is produced from HDPE raw material, are generally of the same diameter. It is used when pipes must be connected at a right angle during the laying of pipelines. It is one of the HDPE fittings used at the outlets of the main and intermediate lines. It is also used in valve and branch connections. Connections can be made easily with the electrofusion fusing method. All te types produced from HDPE raw material must be joined by welding method. Because HDPE material is not suitable for bonding methods with the help of adhesive due to its structure. It has a resistance to chemical adhesives.

“Fork te”, “cross te”, “inegal te” and “equal te”, “serve te” are variants in different angles and tasks. Each “te” has a separate function. We carefully manufacture each of our products in our company, carefully control them after production and carefully pack them one by one.

HDPE Equal Tee

hdpe equal te The three ends of the “equal te” produced from HDPE raw material have the same diameter. It allows the pipes to be connected at right angles during the laying of the pipelines. It is also used to draw a line over the main line or to divide the main line into three. Same on three ends

diameter, it is used when connecting pipes of the same diameter.

Butt welding method is used for fusing HDPE equal tee fitting. In addition, it can be welded by electrofusion welding method.

HDPE Cross Tee

HDPE cross is an additional piece produced from HDPE raw material, which is used when pipelines are to be divided into four. Since all four ends are of the same diameter, it connects pipes of the same diameter. HDPE cross can be welded by butt welding method and electrofusion welding method for fusing the fitting.

HDPE Fork Tee

HDPE fork te allows the lines to be divided into three at an angle of 45° while laying the pipelines. Butt welding method and electrofusion welding method are used for fusing the HDPE fork tee insert. HDPE Inegal Tee

Inegal literally means “unequal”. In HDPE inegal, it is used to make a line over the main line or to divide the main line into three. While the two parallel ends are the same diameter, the third end that cuts perpendicularly is either larger or smaller in diameter. In this way, it allows a third pipe with a larger or smaller diameter to be connected in pipeline laying. It can be welded by butt welding method and electrofusion welding method for fusing HDPE inegal te fittings.

HDPE Service Tee

HDPE is one of the additional parts used in service, liquid and gas infrastructure. It has the feature of providing connection with another line on pipelines. There are two types of EF Service Tee, EF Valved Service Tee and EF Valveless Service Tee.

HDPE Te Prices

HDPE prices vary according to each company. There may be natural changes in prices due to the returns of quality standards. In addition, the size of the product is an important factor in the increase or decrease of its price. Our advice to you is that you don’t buy a product just because it’s cheap. The price of a product is important, but the quality is much more important. We strive to provide you with the best service with good quality and reasonable prices in our company and we are proud of our effort.
